•That's a good question, especially if your experience with sunscreen in the past has left your skin feeling icky and covered in a film. • Yes. You need sunscreen even if you are indoors, even if it's not sunny outside, even if the sky is blocked by clouds. • Why - because while being in the sun is great for your mood and health, it can deeply damage your skin.
You should wear sunscreen just like you wear footwear when you are walking regardless of your skin type. The primary job of footwear is to protect your feet. Similarly, the primary job of sunscreen is to protect your skin from UV rays. As long as you opt for non-comedogenic sunscreen, your skin will not react poorly. Beat the Sun is a non-greasy, lightweight, non-comedogenic lotion made to suit acne-prone, oily, and sensitive skin without causing any clogging or breakouts.
Yes, Pregnant women can use it, as Beat the Sun contains all modern UV filters safe for pregnant and lactating women. However, during pregnancy, hormone changes are considerable and your skin can become very sensitive, so perform a patch before use.
Sun protection is a comprehensive approach that involves a combination of measures. The main difference between a sun stick and other sunscreen types (lotions, creams) lies in the application method & formulation. Sun sticks are solid, and glide smoothly onto the skin, making them suitable for quick and precise application to specific areas, such as the face, ears, or other sensitive spots. They are particularly popular for on-the-go use and ease of reapplication as they can be easily carried in purses or pockets.
Most people who apply sunscreen, don’t reapply it after 2 hours. To get continued SPF protection throughout the day, you need to reapply the sunscreen. Ray Away makes reapplication easier, especially if you have makeup on or your hands are not clean enough to apply Beat The Sun or you are on the go and can’t rub Beat The Sun in without a mirror. So, Sunscreen offers better protection in one application than a sun stick does in one swipe so if you are planning to pick only one form of sun protection, though you should use both, a sunstick will need to be applied in multiple swipes to get the desired SPF protection. However, some sunscreen is better than no sunscreen. So even if you only apply sunstick, it’s still better than not wearing any sunscreen. You can start your day with Beat The Sun & follow up with Ray Away throughout the day for unbeatable sun protection.
A sunstick will need to be applied at least about 2-3 swipes for 60 seconds to get the desired SPF protection. Ray Away is designed to glide effortlessly & won’t spoil your makeup if that is already set.

Key Ingredients

• Sun protection relies on three methods. First, absorb the UV rays and prevent them from affecting the skin. Second, scattering the light that falls on your skin, and the third is reflecting the UV rays that fall on your skin. Tinosorb is the first of its kind sun filter that uses all three methods to fight off the UV rays.

•The combination of Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone, methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol, Ethylhexyl triazone, and Diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate allows our sunscreen to harness broad-spectrum protection, non-greasy, non-comedogenic application and maximum white cast elimination.

Centella Asiatica aka Gotu Kola; how fun is that name! Gotu Kola extract is celebrated for its ability to retain moisture, strengthen, soothe and heal sensitive skin and give the skin bouncy plumpness.

•Ceramides make up about 40-50% of the lipids, alongside cholesterol and free fatty acids. They naturally occur in our skin and are the glue that holds the skin cells together, maintains the skin barrier and hydrates the skin.

•5 Ceramide Complex (Ceramide NP, AS, NS, AP, EOP) helps our sunstick do precisely that, helping your skin maintain its smoothness, strength, moisture and hydration level- at all times.

• It excels in repairing damaged skin, promoting an even tone and quelling inflammation.

•Ray Away with the help of Purslane, calms down irritated skin, reduces the appearance of fine lines, and soothes redness & discomfort.

Feels like nothing!

It's smooth n it's perfect... feels like your skin has nothing on it. I am a sun block hater because they always burn my eyes, this DOES NOT. I can't believe I'm reviewing a sunscreen, we'll this one deserves a 5 star! My skin feels good after the month long application.

Go for it !

I have acne-prone skin and I was a bit hesitant to use the sunstick, but it didn’t cause any breakouts and was gentle around the eyes too
